I’ve been on a keto diet for a while now, and I’m always looking for good and easy keto recipes. So today I’m sharing a list of my favorite keto mug cakes that are easy to make in the microwave in just a few minutes!
They are all delicious and nutritious; what more could you ask for?
Mug Cake is a single-serving portion-sized mini cake, made in a mug or ramekin. It can be made in a microwave, oven, or even in the air fryer.
They are very popular because they are quick and super easy to make with just a few ingredients.
These cakes also come in handy when you want something sweet but don’t have all day to bake something from scratch.
There are many keto-friendly toppings that you can use on your mug cake. Toppings can make your mug cake extra special and even more delicious, but they will probably add some extra carbs to your dessert.
Here are some toppings that I like to add to my mug cakes:
When you are on a keto diet adding small amounts of berries is ok.
Berries, particularly raspberries and strawberries, are low in carbs and high in fiber, and they can make a great addition to your keto dessert or meal.
They can be enjoyed in small portions, between 20 and 50 grams each day.
Nuts are a great source of nutrients and healthy fats, but certain types of nuts are also loaded with carbs. When you are choosing nuts or nut butter that can be good for your keto toppings, look for ones with high fat and lower in carbs. Here are the best nuts to use on the keto diet based on the amount of carbs in a 1oz portion:
Both heavy and whipping cream can be considered keto-friendly. They are high-fat and low-carb which makes them great for keto dieters. In 1tbsp of heavy whipping cream is just 0.4g of total carbs.
Sugar-free chocolate chips are a great topping for any mug cake, but you need to be mindful of its serving size because it can have a fair amount of carbs. I like to use Dark Chocolate Baking Chips by Lily’s or GHIRARDELLI. They both have 8g of total carbs per serving size (about 14g).
Sugar-free syrups are delicious and also a great rich, fudge-like topping for any keto dessert. I like to use ChocZero’s Syrups because they are thick and rich, sugar-free, and low in carbs.
You can make a mug cake in the oven by following just a few steps. First, you`ll need an ovenproof mug or ramekin.
To bake in the oven, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for roughly 10 minutes.
You will know that your mug cake is done if you gently touch the top with a few fingers: if they stick slightly, it’s done. If your cake doesn’t stick, you’ve nuked it a little too long.
If it’s still completely wet, put it back in the oven for a little bit more time just until it reaches that perfect, slightly-sticky consistency.
You can also bake your mug cake in an air fryer. It is super simple to do and perfect if you don`t want to turn your oven on.
You need to set the temperature to 330°F and add the mug cake to the air fryer for 5 to 7 minutes.
You`ll need to use an ovenproof mug or ramekin. You will know that your mug cake is done if it is slightly sticky when you gently touch the top.
Keto mug cakes are delicious, but they’re also easy to make. You don’t need to be a culinary genius to whip up a batch of these treats. There are a few simple but useful tips for making the best mug cakes.
For making the best keto mug cake you need to use room-temperature eggs. They blend more evenly in batters and help the dough rise more easily.
You can take them out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you plan to use them.
If you don`t want to leave the eggs outside of your fridge you can take a small bowl, and fill it with warm to very warm tap water (you don’t want it hot, as you don’t want the eggs to prematurely cook), place the eggs, still in their shells, in the bowl and wait about 5 minutes or until they are no longer cold to the touch. The water will warm the eggs.
Your mug cake batter should be halfway up at most. If you need use a bigger mug or ramekin.
Maybe the most important thing is to enjoy your mug cake immediately.
Because it is not a typical cake, which is usually cooled completely before slicing or icing, after even 10 minutes, the texture of mug cake begins to harden.
So, if you want to enjoy a perfect and gooey mug cake should be dug into immediately after cooking.
If you’re on the keto diet, you know how hard it can be to give up some of your favorite foods. But one food that you never have to give up is cake!
There are many varieties of keto mug cake! That’s why I’ve put together this list of 7 go-to keto mug cake recipes that are sure to get your mouth watering.

Healthy Keto Mug Brownies don’t get better than this! This easy 1-minute mug brownie recipe is a low carb game changer. It takes practically no time to make, it’s legitimately as delicious as the “real” thing.
So it’s time to eat a mug cake! All of these recipes are delicious and worth trying out.

If you are in the mood for something indulgent, sweet, and delicious that is low carb and gluten-free then this Keto Strawberry Mousse is the perfect instant dessert that is sure to impress!
This easy Keto Strawberry Mousse is a show stopper and is the perfect after-dinner treat.
The best part is that this low-carb strawberry mousse recipe only has 4 ingredients, takes about 5 minutes, it’s easy to put together, and the odds are you already have the ingredients on hand.
When it comes to keto no-bake desserts, my favorite recipes to make are chocolate mousse and this keto strawberry mousse.
Is there anything better than strawberry-flavored desserts? They are naturally sweet and are indulgent, healthy, and much lower in carbs than many fruits.
Next time you crave something sweet and refreshing, try this keto dessert. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely! Strawberries are a wonderful way to add nutrition and variety to a keto diet.
You just need to be a bit cautious about the quantity you eat.
Together with raspberries and blackberries, they are amongst the fruit containing the lowest amount of carbs.
100 grams of strawberries – that’s 8 medium-sized berries – contain just under 6 grams of net carbs, according to the USDA.
Yes! I prefer to use fresh, but frozen strawberries would also work wonderfully in this recipe! Simply use 1 cup of frozen strawberries in place of the fresh ones. Before use, thaw the frozen berries and process with the recipe as usual.
Place defrosted strawberries in a blender. Cover blender, then puree the berries. Leave berries in the blender and set them aside.

Yes, that should be fine, but bear in mind that cream cheese has a sharper, subtle cheese taste. Mascarpone cheese is a rich, creamy cheese that usually adds a sweet flavor to dishes.
Mascarpone is not easily available always and you can use cream cheese instead. Even though the flavor might not be the same as while using mascarpone, using cream cheese works fine.
Just choose which one you personally prefer – I usually use mascarpone cheese because I love the taste of it, but it works just as well with normal cream cheese.
These are the ingredients you need to make this mousse (You can find the exact amounts needed on the recipe card at the end of this post!):
– Strawberries – Fresh strawberries would work wonderfully in this recipe, but you can also use frozen berries.
– Powdered sweetener of choice – I used Lakanto Powdered Monkfruit Sweetener, but erythritol or swerve sweetener can also be used. You can also use granulated sweetener but you need to mix it until well incorporated.
– Heavy cream – Either heavy cream or heavy whipping cream can be used.
– Mascarpone cheese or full-fat cream cheese – You can use both for this recipe!

This Keto Strawberry Mousse is the perfect instant dessert that is sure to impress! With only 4 ingredients it's easy to put together. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. I don't recommend freezing this keto strawberry mousse.

If you’re still learning what to eat on the keto diet, you may be wondering about strawberries on keto. Are strawberries Keto-friendly?
The answer is yes. You can safely add strawberries to your keto diet.
The berry family (strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries) are all the lowest carb fruit options you have when following a ketogenic diet, falling around 6 net carbs per 100 grams per the USDA.
Most other fruits are too high in carbs to be eaten regularly on a keto diet, but berries make a great fruit option for keto dieters.

This is a pretty simple recipe. There are a few easy steps involved and a few bowls to clean but it’s worth it cause they are so pretty and so refreshingly delicious.
I can say that this is the best alternative to a classic recipe. It is a fabulous fruit-based variant with strawberries in velvety mascarpone filling – a perfect combination!

Detailed measurements and instructions can be found on the printable recipe card at the bottom of the page.
Strawberries – I definitely recommend using fresh berries, we want berries that are juicy and plump and bright!
Mascarpone Cheese – Mascarpone is an essential creamy addition to tiramisu and will provide some rich tang to our dessert.
Do not skip mascarpone to cream cheese, as it will change properly the taste of your Tiramisu.
Mascarpone has a higher fat content and a much richer and creamier taste than cream cheese. So, using cream cheese you risk getting runny cream.
Whipped cream
Chocolate – 90% Dark Chocolate shaved or grated to be sprinkled on top.
Prep the strawberries: Cut the strawberries into the small cubes (pieces), and put it in the large bowl.
Add sugar substitute and lemon juice. Mix gently with a spatula and leave for 10-20 minutes. Let them all hang out while you are making the creamy layer.

Create the creamy filling: The mascarpone layer is just a few ingredients. A little sugar is mixed into the mascarpone to sweeten it up a bit.
I used my mixer, but mascarpone cheese is generally fairly soft, even when cold. It’s pretty easy to mix, so just combine the cheese and sugar however you prefer.
Be sure not to over mix them though, as mascarpone cheese can break down and become really soft and almost watery when over mixed.
Added to the mascarpone cheese is some whipped cream, which lightens it up perfectly.
Assemble the Keto Strawberry Tiramisu: Take individual glasses (cups), and layer the bottom with strawberries mixture.

Then, add a layer of mascarpone cream filling. Repeat that creating at least 2 layers of each, or until you use all mixtures, but save some strawberries mixture to top your Tiramisu Strawberries Cups.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight. Before serving you can top it with shredded dark chocolate f you want.

This low-carb Keto Chocolate Chia Pudding recipe is so filling and deliciously chocolatey! It is a perfect quick breakfast for busy mornings. You can prep on Sunday for a week’s worth of breakfast in just 5 minutes.
Sometimes I need a little chocolate in my life and this low-carb chocolate pudding is just the perfect snack. You are going to love it too!
This breakfast tastes so indulgent it’s hard to believe it’s nutrient-packed and healthy!
The creamy coconut milk balances out the rich bitterness of the cacao powder and you can adjust the natural sweetener content to suit your taste buds.
Chia seeds are the main event here with their high protein and fiber content they are great to work into a keto diet.

Chia seeds come from the plant Salvia hispanica, which is, in fact, a member of the mint family. They have so many health benefits. They have a lot of fiber and can help you feel fuller longer.
They are loaded with antioxidants, plant-based protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and fiber. (So much fiber, in fact, that there is only one “net carb” per one-ounce serving!)
The best thing about chia seeds is that in the presence of liquid they form a gel called mucilage.
This is what helps to thicken our strawberry chia seed jam, as well as turn this chia pudding into a deliciously creamy keto dessert!

Looking for a low-carb Keto Chocolate Muffins recipe that’s moist and sweet just like what you’re used to and easy to make? Then you are in the right place.
Who says you have to give up desserts to stick to a low-carb lifestyle? These Keto Chocolate Muffins are a simple, low-carb, sweet treat that is so easy to make and loaded with rich chocolatey flavor.
These really are the best keto chocolate muffins you will ever make! A wonderful healthy breakfast or snack and kids love them.
They taste so chocolatey and indulgent! However, they are low in carbs and in calories and high in fiber. They are also really easy to mix up with ingredients you probably already have on hand.
This recipe makes 12 muffins, 1 serving is 1 muffin.

You’ll only need a few simple ingredients to make these tasty muffins. The exact measurements are included in the recipe card below.
This recipe is kid-friendly and uses unsweetened cocoa and sugar-free chocolate chips. With only 2 net carbs per serving, if you are looking for the best keto diet bread with sweetness, this recipe is for you!
The key to making moist keto chocolate muffins is that you do not use coconut flour. Coconut flour is very dry and it will dry out the muffins. Do not substitute coconut flour for almond flour in this recipe. You will not get the same results.
Using melted butter is also key in this recipe. Do not overmix the batter. Use a silicone spoon and only beat to combine the ingredients.
These keto muffins are freezer friendly but I prefer the texture when they are fresh the best. Once completely cool, store them in the fridge, in an airtight container, for up to a week.
You can warm them very gently in the microwave on 50% power, 10 seconds per muffin, before enjoying (after removing the foil liners, of course).
