How to Get Rid of Cellulite Permanently

What is cellulite and how to get rid of it? It is a topographical change in the skin’s surface that has been likened to an “orange peel” or “dimpled” appearance.

Cellulite is not always associated with being overweight – it is often genetic and is present in underweight, average, and overweight people.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite Permanently.

Cellulite is a common skin condition, in which the fat gets deposited beneath the skin. In this condition, the skin looks lumpy and dimpled.

Cellulite is most commonly found on the thigh and buttock area, but it can also appear on the hands and legs as well.

Generally, women are more prone to cellulite than men. Having cellulite is not a serious health condition, but it makes you feel conscious as the skin in certain areas looks ugly.

What Causes Cellulite?

Keep in mind that being overweight is not the cause of cellulite, but in case you are obese, you can reduce cellulite by shedding weight.

Cellulite is most commonly seen among women than in men. Female sex hormones play a major role in causing cellulite because collagen fibers weaken with age forming dimpled skin. If your ancestors have cellulite, then there’s a pretty good chance you will also get cellulite.

If you have a nutritional deficiency then your connective tissue may get damaged and lets the fat deposit beneath the skin surface.

Toxins also may cause cellulite. Usually, the cells on the skin surface contain toxins that may damage the skin. But many believe that toxins get accumulated by the liver and eliminate from your body.

Some other factors that may cause cellulite include:

  • Stress
  • Lack of exercise or an inactive lifestyle
  • Due to hormonal changes or excessive usage of hormonal contraceptives
  • Hormones such as noradrenaline, estrogen, thyroid hormones, prolactin, and insulin may produce cellulite
  • An improper diet that includes more amounts of carbohydrates, fat, or salt, and very little fiber or Fad dieting may result in cellulite
  • Dehydration
  • Certain genes associated with gender, slow metabolism, race, and circulatory insufficiency may result in cellulite
  • Wearing tight clothes may limit the blood flow resulting in the formation of cellulite
  • Cellulite is less evident in people with darker skin tones. But bumps and dimples of skin are noticeable in people with lighter skin tone.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite

According to many pieces of research, the lumpy and dimpled appearance of the skin occurs mainly because of the hormonal imbalance, improper diet as well as because of the lifestyle we are leading nowadays. Apart from that, a person gets this cellulite issue because of his or her genes. Generally, obese people are more prone to this skin condition.

This is a stubborn skin condition, but you can successfully get rid of this by religiously following certain home remedies, exercises, and diets.
